Bio Kemikel offers specialty R.O Water Treatment Chemical formulated for R.O membrane system or R.O plants. Our R.O Chemicals are specially designed to inhibit Silica, inorganic scale formation and fouling in the membrane separation system.
Biokemikel 222AS are used to control inorganic scales of calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate, magnesium, barium, strontium sulphate, fluoride, iron and silica. It completely reduces & controls scale formation to protect membranes. These chemicals keep R.O system capacity close to design, and minimize shutdowns and membrane cleaning cost, helps to minimize the risk of scaling and eliminates unfavorable effect on the use of hazardous acids, resulting in efficient plant operation with highest possible conversion rate.
Dosing of R.O Antiscalent depends on the TDS and hardness of Raw water.
Biokemikel 222AS is specially designed to inhibit inorganic scale formation and
fouling in the membrane separation system. It controls the scales of Calcium Carbonate,
Calcium Sulfate, Barium and Strontium Sulfate in waters with a high scaling potential.
It can also stabilize a wide range of supersaturated salt solutions, thereby preventing the
precipitation on the membrane surface (Also for high TDS).
Biokemikel 222AS Antiscalant is also useful for iron & silica rich feed water, which
helps to prevent iron fouling in the R.O membrane.
Biokemikel 222As (Antiscalant, Silica Inhibitor & Antifoulant For Reverse Osmosis Systems)
- Biokemikel 222AS is the Silica R.O Antiscalent specially designed to inhibit scale formation in the membrane separation system.
- It is specially designed for silica control and silica fouling in the R.O membranes. It is completely suitable for being added to drinking water system.
- The Silica R.O Antiscalant is ideally suited for High Silica level in water. It is used for removing scale and fouling in the R.O system along with the high dispersion of silica on the wall surfaces of reverse osmosis system. The performance of R.O membrane gets negatively impacted due to suspended mineral scale, microorganisms and solids.
- This Antiscalant is formulated by using quality ingredients meets the purpose of improvising the performance of R.O systems by supremely eliminating scale, corrosion, dispersed content and reduce operational shutdown time.

Application And Dosage
- Biokemikel 222AS are dosed directly to the R.O feed water tank or feed water line (after pre-treatment) at the recommended dosing, subject to inlet water quality and parameters is respect of Calcium Hardness, Iron, TDS, Alkalinity, pH and silica content.
- 1-5 ml. in 1000 liters of feed Water. It is non-corrosive in nature. Please consult our technical executive for exact dosage
